Local Initiative
Here in the diocese of Edmonton we are excited that a number of parishes are getting “messy”. The founder of Messy Church, Lucy Moore, visited in June 2010 to provide us with training and encouragement. To get “messy”, contact any of the churches listed below for details about their programs:
Messy Wednesdays, Holy Trinity Neighbourhood Church, 1428-156 Street, Edmonton
Come join the messy fun every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 at Holy Trinity Riverbend.
There is no cost and nothing to bring but your appetite!

Held the third Friday of every month at 5:45 pm.
Messy Saturdays at Good Shepherd, Edmonton, 15495 Castledowns Road
Held the second Saturday of every month from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Messy Church coming to Saint Matthias!! This program is aimed primarily at families with young children who may find attending worship on Sunday’s not always practical, but still wish to experience a Christian environment. Messy Church is held the last Monday of the month (5:15-7:00 pm). The evening will consist of a children’s lesson with crafts, a short 20 min. worship service then supper.
